The Abbott House - Seguin Wedding & Events Venue
The 1895 restored four level Victorian home is a masterpiece of interior design and craftsmanship mirroring accuracy to the era. It provided the perfect setting for a medium sized wedding with its beautiful outside gardens and sumptuous rooms inside. Each ceiling in the house is a work of art and added to the beauty of the occasion. Roomy covered porches supplied comfortable additional seating for extra guests. Beautiful guest rooms upstairs were available for the wedding party's preparations. The baby grand piano was a showpiece and provided the music for the dinner. The 1940 Packard driven by Paul gave them the perfect exit to a perfect wedding. Our son and his bride were so pleased with the elegance of this venue and the very reasonable cost. Judy and Paul worked hard to make this the best experience for all of us and were available to help with catering, rentals, flowers, invitations, etc. Judy was a wonderful resource for all things wedding, keeping notes, plans, and diagrams to create an occasion made to order for the bride and groom. They later said to us "Thank you for giving us our dream wedding!" There's no better review than that!

The Daughters of The Republic of Texas had a luncheon meeting at the Abbott House which was delightful. The house is beautiful and decorated so uniquely. All the ladies had a wonderful time and were so impressed with the hospitality and the tour of the home. It was a great experience and we will definitely be returning for a future event.

I just want to express the wonderful experience we had at the Abbott House in Seguin in celebration of my father’s 90th birthday. The event was wonderful and to this day we still receive favorable comments from guests and friends that attended. The home is elegant yet offers a sense of real comfort and hospitality. Paul and Judy are outstanding host and make everyone feel truly welcomed. We look forward to the next opportunity to spend time at the Abbott House and all the wonders it has to offer.
